Grace Pécheck received a top award from the Lincoln Academy, which annually honors one senior from each four-year college or university in Illinois as a student laureate. Pécheck, a double-major in history and English, a member of the mediation team, a student senator, and president of the Phi Alpha Eta honor society, has proven her leadership abilities, academic excellence, and extracurricular involvement on campus. “I’m incredibly honored to be following in the footsteps of past Principia Lincoln laureates,” says Pécheck, who plans to pursue a master’s degree and career in education after graduating. “They’ve all been outstanding and inspiring individuals!”
