Lower School Renovations Make Way for Growing Enrollment
Step inside the Lower School academic building and experience an environment brimming with energy, creativity, innovation, and more students. Contractors renovated several key Lower School spaces during the summer to help accommodate the Lower School’s 9 percent increase in enrollment and to create ample room for experiential and project-based learning.
The Lower School renovations include larger, refreshed classrooms, additional space to accommodate more students, and engaging specialty rooms. Specifically, there’s a new music and band room with an additional ensemble room in the lower level, a literacy room across from the IDEA Center/Library, a larger, refreshed third-grade classroom, and updated fourth- and fifth-grade classrooms.
The bright open spaces are a perfect place to witness Lower School students writing, engineering, building, singing, problem-solving, practicing, and experimenting with their peers.
